Wahsega 4-H Center

Wahsega 4-H Center Homeschool Days

An Environmental Education field study designed for homeschoolers.  Bring your family to the mountains for an educational vacation at a great value.  Our environmental education program teaches over 4,000 students a year and people love our beautiful location and fun classes.  We have reserved space during these days for individual homeschool families to enjoy our popular program.

The cost for this 3-day field study session includes lodging, classes, and meals.

  • Adults and students ages 5 and above: $120 per person.

  • Younger siblings under 5 are not charged but classes are gear towards age 5 and up

Accommodations:

Our cabins are rustic and beautiful but be prepared for simple living conditions.  Cabins have 14 bunk beds and each family will have their own cabin.  Cabins do not have bathrooms, there is a boys and a girls’ bathhouse a short walk away.  Bring a sleeping bag or a warm blanket because there is no heat in the cabins.  Also bring all bedding, towels, and toiletries.

Classes:

Students will be busy the entire time with our engaging classes taught by our excellent staff.  Most classes take place outdoors.  See the schedule on our website  (www.wahsega4h.org/ee) for more information.  Classes are designed for ages 5 through 17.  Adults are expected to attend classes as well and help with supervision during your entire length of stay.  Younger children are welcome to attend classes but should be under close parental supervision.
